Biography

Lyn Zollo is a lecturer in the School of Early Childhood. Lyn’s key areas of teaching and research interest include:

  • Professional experience
  • Pre-service teacher education
  • Creating curriculum in early childhood educational contexts
  • Pedagogical practice in early childhood education

As an early childhood educator, with some 20 years of teaching experience, Lyn has worked across a range of diverse early childhood contexts both in Australia and internationally. These include

  • lower primary
  • kindergarten/preschool
  • long day care
  • high school
  • National Childcare Accreditation Council (consultant)
  • TESOL teacher of children and adults (Europe)

Teaching

Lyn brings her experiences from teaching in a range of early childhood contexts, as well as her research focus on preservice teacher education, to her teaching. Lyn has worked across a number of undergraduate units, including as unit co-ordinator in
