Dr Chao Zhang

Biography
Dr. Zhang is a Research Officer at the Central Analytical Research Facility and a Senior Lecturer in the School of Chemistry and Physics. His academic journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Optoelectronics, a Master's degree in Applied Physics, and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering. Dr. Zhang's research is dedicated to exploring the properties of new materials at the nanometer and atomic scales using in situ Transmission Electron Microscopy, with particular focuses on nanomanipulations and optoelectronic analysis. He is interested in establishing crucial connections between these mechanisms and their real applications, spanning photodetectors, solar cells, rechargeable batteries, and flexible electronics.Personal details
