Chrystal is a lecturer in early childhood and primary mathematics education at QUT. Her key teaching and research areas include:

  • STEM education
  • Mathematics education in early childhood and primary settings
  • Early childhood education and care

Chrystal has experience teaching across early childhood settings, primary settings and tertiary settings.
Chrystal’s doctoral research focused on infants and toddlers in early childhood education and care contexts, looking at quality of care, patterns of care and associations between early care and later developmental outcomes.
