Biography
Therese is a clinical radiographer with over 20 years working in a diverse range of clinics and departments, within Australia and the UK. She has a passion for teaching future radiographers and using simulation and computer based technologies to enhance the learning experience. Therese completed her PhD in studying the impact of Virtual Reality software on the skills and confidence of the undergraduate medical radiation science student learning.Areas of research - Medical imaging; Pedagogy; Simulation

Teaching
Therese has been a full time academic at QUT since 2015.
In 2023, Therese, along with her colleagues in the the Medical Imaging Academic team at QUT were awarded the Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) 2022 - Awards for programs that enhance learning; Curriculum transformation and innovative and pedagogy practice. This was to recognise the use of technology and value of simulation tools to enhance student learning within the four years of the Medical Imaging program.
She is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
