Biography
Dr Selena Boyd has been a lecturer in pharmacy practice at the Queensland University of Technology since 2008. Prior to her career in academia, Selena worked in both hospital and managed community pharmacies and is an experienced pharmacy practitioner. Her research area is in medication use in animals, with a particular interest in veterinary compounding. This has lead to the development of her research group CATS (Compounding Animal Therapeutic Solutions).Personal details

Teaching
Selena teaches Pharmacy Practice to the first, second and third year pharmacy students. She believes that all pharmacists should know how to dispense and counsel a patient properly from the beginning of their degree.
