Biography

Dr Rebecca Spooner-Lane is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Early Childhood and Inclusive Education at QUT.  As an educator and Psychologist, Rebecca uses her research expertise in quantitative data analysis to explore evidence based research to support and assess the impact of personal and professional development initiatives for teachers at different stages of their career.  Rebecca has a keen interest in induction and mentoring, leadership, and teacher’s mental health and well-being. Rebecca has supervised doctoral and master’s students in the areas of teacher self-efficacy, inclusive education, mindfulness, professional identity, intercultural competence, and values education. Rebecca is the book review editor for the Journal of Psychologists and Counsellors in Schools.
