Biography
Mark Radvan is Lecturer in Drama in the Creative Industries Faculty at QUT. His focus areas are Acting, Directing and Arts Management with a special interest in Theatre for Children.He was the Artistic Director of the 2006 and 2008 Out of the Box Festivals of Early Childhood at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, and he is the founding Artistic Director of Imaginary Theatre, a company that creates theatre works for children.
His Masters study was in the area of movement for actors with particular application to stimulating creative responses and to stage composition.
His creative works span a broad range of theatre from Chekhov and Shakespeare to contemporary works to dramatic adaptations of Anna Fienberg's Tashi stories. The Tashi plays are built on (and extend) a movement-based approach to performance and have been presented through

- Sydney Children's Festival
- the Seoul World Children's Book Fair in South Korea.
He has directed for a number of companies including
