I am a Lecturer in Interaction Design in the School of Design at the Queensland University of Technology and an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the Digital Life Lab. I am a transdisciplinary academic conducting research into interaction design, the cognition of creativity, and online communities of teachers.

My recent book is Online Learning Networks for Pre-service and Early Career Teachers (co-authored with Marc ClarĂ , Ben Kehrwald and Patrick Danaher). I am author of over 75 academic publications and have been involved in numerous successful grants. I have held post-doctoral positions at the University of Sydney, the Pontifical University of Chile, the University of Southern Queensland, and Queensland University of Technology. I received my PhD and Honours degree (First Class with the University Medal) in the field of Design Computing from the University of Sydney.

An online blog and about page has current interests. I have a profile page here for my work with the QUT Teacher Education and Professional Learning (TEPL) group.
