Teaching

Dr McCredie has coordinated, lectured and tutored a large range of courses, at various levels (undergraduate and postgraduate), using different delivery methods (face-to-face and online) including: Taxation Law and Practice (current); Company Accounting; Financial Accounting; Cost and Management Accounting; Strategic Management Accounting; Foundations of Business Analysis; Finance; International Finance; Corporate Finance; Business Finance; Financial Institutions Management; and Investments. Dr McCredie is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and has received a teaching award from the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Newcastle in 2015 for ‘Excellence in Teaching by a Sessional Staff Member’. This award recognised Dr McCredie's efforts in developing a suite of innovative teaching resources based upon principles of the flipped classroom and fostering an inclusive environment for students.
