Michael Klaehn has worked part time as a lecturer and tutor with the Business Faculty's School of Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations, the Creative Industries School of Communication and the QUT International College (QUTIC). Areas taught include:

He has also developed and presented corporate and professional education training for government and industry clients in the areas of social media and marketing communications. Michael also received a Vice-Chancellors Award for Excellence and was nominated for a Vice-Chancellor's Performance Award.
