Biography

Thi My Linh Hoang is an Advance Queensland Research Fellow in the Centre for Tropical Crop and Biocommodities (CTCB). She was the holder of Australian Development Scholarship (AusAID) and Endeavour Postgraduate Award for her Master and PhD studies. My Linh was awarded Best Paper Award for Early Career Scientist in 2015 for her research paper published in Functional Plant Biology. She has been researching abiotic/biotic stress tolerance and nutritional enrichment on several plants including rice, chickpea, mungbean and pigeonpea. Her research focuses on using advanced biotechnology and crop modelling to optimise interactions between Genotype, Environment and Management. She is/was the associate supervisor of three PhD and one Master (by research) students.
