Professor Ma’s teaching covers a broad subject range in Engineering Management: from manufacturing systems, operations management and traditional industrial engineering to the relatively new disciplines of engineering management and asset management. Teaching innovation and engagement
- Experimented with the Total Quality Management (TQM) unit by involving students in the teaching process
- Designed a flexible web-based delivery site for teaching the Master of Engineering Management course before the implementation of QUT OLT
- Developed explicit links between the teaching and the profession, through my distinctive research network with industry
- Developed and experimented with innovative peer assessment methods for group-based projects in the Technology Management and Professional Studies units
