Biography

Kay Oddone has over twenty years’ experience working in education and information environments. She has held teaching, school administration and librarianship positions, and has worked in consultancy positions nationally and internationally.

Kay’s PhD is currently under examination. It explores teachers’ experience of professional learning through personal learning networks. Her research interests include connected and networked learning, critical and digital literacies, open pedagogies and learning through social technologies.

She lectures at QUT in the areas of Connected Learning, Inquiry Learning and Teacher Librarianship and is the study area coordinator for Teacher Librarianship in the Master of Education.

Kay is committed to finding innovative and creative ways to enhance how we access, experience, remix and redistribute information and learning within digital contexts.
