Experience

Professional Experience: I have nearly 20 years experience in the field of agricultural biotechnology and am currently employed as a Research Associate within the Centre for Tropical Crops and Biocommodities at QUT, Brisbane. My research interests include virus-based vectors for transgene expression, biofarming and developing novel resistance strategies to plant viruses, particularly the ssDNA genome geminiviruses. My current work involves these areas of research and the use of cisgenics to genetically improve various crops.
