Biography

Colin’s main research interests lie in the area of corporate insolvency law and in particular in the area of corporate rescue of insolvent corporations. He has a specific interest in economics and law approaches to evaluating insolvency law regimes. Colin is currently the editor of the Insolvency Law Journal and has authored a number of articles and presented papers at national and international conferences in the area of insolvency and related topics. He is also the co-author of the several texts in the area of corporate law as well. Colin is the co-author of Crutchfield’s Voluntary Administration.
Colin is a member of the Commercial and Property Law Research Centre at QUT Law. In 2013, Colin was a visiting scholar at the Centre for Business and Insolvency Law at Nottingham Law School (UK).
