Biography
Dr Catherine Niven is currently conducting research on an Australian Research Council funded child product safety project. She recently completed her doctoral study evaluating Australian and US consumer product safety regulatory responses to hazardous children’s products and was awarded a 2020 QUT Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award. She is an active member of the Queensland Consumer Product Injury Research Advisory Group and previously worked with the Queensland Government in legal, policy, and compliance roles.Personal details
