Biography

Background Christy Collis is a researcher in cultural geography and in the scholarship of learning and teaching. Christy has a track record of industry-engaged curriculum design and leadership, including designing the Creative Industries Faculty’s Work-integrated Learning program, and designing and founding the successful QUT Bachelor of Entertainment Industries course. She was founding Head of the discipline of Entertainment and Arts Management between 2013-2017. Christy is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a Reviewer with the Queensland Academy of Learning and Teaching. She is an Expert Peer Reviewer for QUT’s internal teaching evaluation program, a lead reviewer for the QUT Curriculum Standards Committee, and an elected member of the QUT University Academic Board. She is an executive member of Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA) Qld.
