I am a postdoctoral researcher in applied mathematics working with the QUT Centre for Data Science and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Plant Success in Nature and Agriculture.  My primary interest is interfacing simulation science, typically powered by mathematical modelling, with statistics in order to better understand issues of parameter sensitivity and variability. A bulk of my previous work has been directed towards electrical signalling in heart, where complex travelling wave dynamics govern both the healthy heartbeat and its degeneration into different types of arrhythmia.
