Anna joined the Law School as a Senior Lecturer in 2015, and is the Director of Undergraduate Programs (Curriculum). Her primary research interests lie in the areas of environmental law and administrative law at the international and domestic levels. A key theme in her research is enhancing verification and compliance processes in international environmental law. Anna’s research was selected for presentation at the peer-reviewed NYU/Nottingham/Melbourne Junior Faculty Forum for International Law in 2016. Her new book, Multilateral Environmental Agreements and Compliance: The Benefits of Administrative Procedures, was published by Routledge in 2017.
Anna also researches in the field of legal education, and was previously an Assessment and Curriculum Development Fellow at UNSW Law. Her legal education research explores issues in higher education regulation, curriculum design, assessment practices and student well-being.
Anna holds a PhD from UNSW Law, for which she received a 2015 PhD Excellence Award. She also has a Master of Laws (Research) degree from QUT, and a Bachelor of International Studies/Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from UNSW. Anna is an Assistant Editor of Transnational Environmental Law, a peer-reviewed journal published by Cambridge University Press. She is a member of the QUT International Law and Global Governance research program, and the International Society of Public Law. She is interested in supervising research projects in the areas of international environmental law, global administrative law, compliance and environmental law.
Before joining QUT, Anna worked at UNSW Law and the NSW Department of Environment and Climate Change.
