Professor Bo Xia

Biography
Dr. Bo Xia is a Professor in the School of Architecture and Built Environment, Queensland University of Technology. His research interests are in design-build, project delivery systems, construction management, sustainable buildings, built environment for older people, and age-friendly communities and cities. His research findings have been published in internationally recognized journals and presented at important conferences. Currently, Prof Xia acts as the editor of International Journal of Construction Management, member of Editorial Boards for the ASCE Journal of Management in Engineering, Advances in Civil Engineering, and Built Environment Project and Asset Management. Prof Xia welcomes prospective PhD applicants interested in broad construction and project management research, particularly in age-friendly built environment for the ageing population. Prof Xia got the nomination for 2013 Faculty Award for Excellence in Postgraduate Research Supervision and won Highly Commended Supervisors as runners-up (1 per School), which is the recognition of his high-quality HDR supervision work.Research Interests
