Mark Webb is a Lecturer in Art and Design in the Creative Industries Faculty at QUT. He teaches across third year, Honours, and Postgraduate studies in the Visual Arts studio units.
He is a practicising artist with over 25 years exhibiting experience and is represented in Queensland Art Gallery, Australian National Gallery, Canberra, the National Gallery of Victoria, and the Art Gallery of Western Australia along with Artbank, Queensland University Art Museum, Queensland University of Technology Museum, Griffith University Art Collection and most of the major private collections across Australia.
His practice spans across all media, but has specialised in time-based, performance and digital media over the last decade. He has curated exhibitions of digital media at both MetroArts and the CI Precincts at QUT, and has written extensively on young and emerging artists in Brisbane.
