Biography

Peter  joined the School of Economics and Finance at QUT in August 2008 from University of Auckland. He obtained a PhD in Financial Econometrics from the University of Western Australia.    His primary research interests are:

  • Corporate Finance
  • Corporate Governance
  • Banking
  • Fund Management
  • Trading Strategies
  • Financial Econometrics

Peter has taught at both the graduate, postgraduate and executive levels and has taught extensively in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, and Malaysia. He has supervised in excess of 50 postgraduate (Masters and PhD) dissertations and has been recognized for his high quality supervision and mentoring.  An extensive list of his publications can be found at www.researchgate.net/
