Biography

As a Senior Research Fellow, Wendy (Bachelor of Business (Communication), Master of Business Management, PhD) researches and lectures in philanthropy and  fundraising. Her Master’s thesis focused on corporate support of community causes and her PhD on improving the marketing and funding for Australian medical research. Recent team and individual work includes:
Wendy was formerly a state CEO of a major health nonprofit, and its national Deputy CEO. She is an Executive Member of  Fundraising Institute Australia and serves on its Codes Taskforce and its Professional Development Committee.  Wendy is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and served on the National Compact Steering Committee and on the advisory panel of Research Australia Philanthropy.
