Biography

Peter O’Brien lectures in the Sociology of Education in the Faculty of Education at QUT. He is currently completing a PhD entitled Calculating the Professional: Standards and the government of professional practice. Research interests

  • ‘Performance Government’: Practices of professional learning, performance development, and standardizing; ePortfolios; governmentality; advanced liberalism.
