Paul Monaghan has been Adjunct Professor in QUT’s School of Public Health since March 2009 and specialises in the areas of:
- commercial acumen
- efficiency improvements and change management
- governance and financial risk management
- decision support and technology integration
- accounting management/financial analysis
- budgeting, forecasting and cash management
Career highlights
- Awarded the 2007 scholarship to the Australian Institute of Company Directors flagship graduate programme.
- Awarded ACHSE Australia Day medallion 2007
- Selected from a merit-based process to participate in the 2002 Australian and New Zealand Health Leadership Program, which has been established under the auspices of the Australian Health Ministers Advisory Council
- Received the 2003 President’s Award, a joint initiative of the ACHSE and Queensland Health, which recognises service and professionalism to the health sector.
