Amanda is an experienced academic capable of leading teaching staff and mentoring facilitation teams to achieve consistent positive, student focused outcomes. Some of her key activities and outcomes have included:
- Participation in the review of the Bachelor of Nursing Course Curriculum for ANMAC accreditation. Ensuring unit learning outcomes align with the course mission statement and learning objectives. Working closely with colleagues to ensure the integration and alignment of each unit with other units across the course.
- Student Literacy Working Party member – an online student self-assessment literacy tool was developed and implemented semester 1, 2014.
Amanda is a lecturer in the School of Nursing. She has taught in undergraduate nursing programmes and has been the Unit Coordinator for Clinical Practice 4 and 3 for five (5) years. Amanda is currently the Academic Coordinator for the Gastroenterology Program that has just started in the School of Nursing.
