Biography
Background Chrisann joined QUT in 2007, previously having worked as an Associate Lecturer at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst. Prior to joining the tertiary sector in 2004, Chrisann worked as a management accountant for a manufacturing company in Hong Kong as well as in a large financial services company in Sydney. Chrisann is passionate about teaching and learning. She was awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Performance Award 2009 and 2015 in recognition of her contribution to the work of the university in the area of teaching excellence. Her research interests are in the areas of financial literacy and accounting education. She has co-authored accounting textbooks and has published several articles in Australian and international journals and conferences. She has also received numerous internal and external research grants. Chrisann completed a PhD in 2014 in superannuation and financial literacy.Research Interests
