Christine is currently working with two Palliative Care projects at IHBI, as National Clinical Educator for Program of Experience in the Palliative Approach (PEPA) and Palliative Care Curriculum for Undergraduates (PCC4U). Teaching and Learning is what Christine is most passionate about and has spent the last 16 years in the School of Nursing at QUT in a variety of teaching roles including Lecturer, Clinical Faciliatator on and off campus and Tutor for a variety of theory and clinical units. Christine was currently awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence for her ongoing role in teaching, learning and student engagement.
Clinically, Christine commenced nursing in 1986 and went on to gain experience and work in areas such as paediatrics, midwifery and women’s health.
