Dr Hou graduated with Bachelor of Medicine from Shandong University, Master of Medicine from Peking University and PhD from QUT. She is a a Director of Research Development in North Asia at Division of Research and Commercialisation and Division of International and Development at QUT and a Senior Lecturer in Epidemiology in School of Public Health and Social Work.
Dr Hou’s research interests are in translating research into health policy in acute health systems, emergency medicine, ambulance system, and international health.
