Biography

Dr Hou graduated with Bachelor of Medicine from Shandong University, Master of Medicine from Peking University and PhD from QUT. She is a Senior Lecturer in Epidemiology in School of Public Health.

Dr Hou’s research interests include acute health systems research, emergency medicine and international health. She is a Research Fellow in Dept of Emergency Medicine at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Dr Hou’s community services roles include International Students Liaison Officer in School of Public Health, member of International Health Program, and representative of Faculty of Health in North Asia Reference Group at QUT.
