Lesley is a lecturer in the discipline of Creative Writing and Literary Studies. Her PhD “Representations of the Railway in Australian Literature” was completed at the University of Queensland in 2005.
Her areas of interests are spatial understanding in relation to literary texts (with a focus on Australian fiction). She also has a growing interest in making theory more practical.
She teaches across a wide range of units (from Shakespeare to Popular Fictions).
