Biography
Steve is an experienced University Lecturer, Facilitator, Coach and Tutor having taught at QUT, Griffith, UniSQ and the CQ University for the last five years. He is passionate about educating, mentoring, coaching and developing aspiring business professionals and he has been a Mentor for many Chartered Accountants through the formal Mentoring Program facilitated by the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) for the last five years. Steve also delivers business, financial, strategic planning and organisational change management coaching and education services to Executive level and Line managers through his consulting firm.Personal details

Teaching

Experience
Steve has been a senior leader and an accounting and finance practitioner in private practice and in the commercial sector for over 30 years. He has worked in Australia and overseas in the investment banking, publishing, engineering, construction, transport, public housing, education services, health services and the not-for-profit industries.
Steve has spent equal portions of his career working in or consulting to the private sector (large and small corporations) and the public sector (through both state and local government). He has over 20 years of senior leadership experience. He is the Managing Director of a boutique management consulting firm which specializes in providing financial and business transformation services and advice to the not for profit and for purpose sectors.
Steve has extensive corporate governance experience, and he has served as a Director and Executive Treasurer on the Boards of Queensland Churches Together and the Scripture Union Queensland for the last five years. In addition, he is a member of the Finance & Audit Committees for these organizations.
