- 5-year NHMRC Health Research Partnership in Type 2 diabetes ($750,000): The Diabetes Health Research Program: A collaborative research-based program of education, intervention and scientific discovery in Type 2 Diabetes.
- 2-year NHMRC Project Grant ($221,500): Energy cost of self-paced walking in obese adults.
- 3-year NHMRC Project Grant ($771,000): Improving Successful Long-term Weight Loss by Deactivating the Human Famine Reaction.
